The forecast said one hot summery day followed by rain all weekend, so I took that day off, kept the girls home so we could hang out together. We packed our lunchboxes, left the car and jumped on the bus. Then we relaxed on the playground all afternoon. They have a place you can make your own art, so off they went:
'what do you think - more blue or shall I stick with pink??'
very concentrated on getting the color just right
flowers and a heart - that's my girl
tools
finishing touches
Thanks girls for spending the day with me
HAPPY WEEKEND EVERYBODY

They are so sweet!
ReplyDeleteCreativity at its best! I love the way kids concentrate on their art. My grandkids are so intense when they are painting. Each child has a different vision. My grandson always painted abstracts with lots of the darker colors and my granddaughter would use brighter colors and would draw hearts, the sun, and houses with the family standing nearby. I have a bag full of canvases, some I've framed. :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the weekend!
I have plastered their walls with their art, it makes them soo proud and it looks fab:)
