Very intriguing pictures of people on the beach.
Massimo Vitali does this with great skill.
I am very very fond of his fly on the wall-esque style.
And I wouldn't mind just going to the beach really -
our Summer is quite frankly a wash out :))))
HAPPY WEEKEND ALL YOU LOVELY PEOPLE
His series of Italian beach panoramas began in the light of drastic political changes in Italy. In 1995 he commenced the Beach Series.

umm...are they photographs or paintings?...they seem caught in dreamland halfway in between both. xx
ReplyDeletePhotographs Virginia - but I say your point - they are great aren't they :)
DeleteSuper cool pics!

Wonderful shots - although I would not like to be on these beaches, too many people... But that makes his pictures also a little bit ironic about the mass tourism nowadays, I think. Just great! Thank you for sharing!!!
ReplyDeletePS: Did remind me a little bit of the Martin Parr Series. He is a magnum photographer who takes stunning pictures which deal with the ugly side of mass tourism.
In two weeks I will be on a beach like that :).
ReplyDeletegreat pics. don't you have any beach holidays planned for this summer? happy weekend!!! xx
ReplyDeleteGreat vacation pics! :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat to see all these beach pictures - summer in the UK is also disappointing with so much rain!

Anya these are exactly what we need to see over in the UK-it's still, wet and horrid, so a bit of sun is perfect! Have a wonderful weekend! Cx
ReplyDeleteCaroline it is exactly the same here - we have had 6 sunny days since may - it is shocking really:)
DeleteMore wet season than summer these days
Have a great weekend - wellies and brollies :)
Axx
These photos are great! I love the color palette the most, they are very soft and your eyes just wander into the details.
