Derelict...

I have a thing for derelict, abandoned buildings. Places that have lived a life way before we came by. I find so much beauty in the decay, if that makes sense to you!! If not have a look:

  6. i have the same 'thing' for abandoned structures.
    they seem to tell a story
    or
    just make me make one up in my head.
    i love shooting abandoned buildings in B&W.
    there is so much texture.

  8. I always wonder when I see abandoned buildings what the history was...who lived there or what business was operating. I'd love to see them renovated and useful again. :) (That's the decorator in me...not that I am one, but a girl can dream) Sigh...
