Remember I told you how fond I was of Italian artist Fornasetti?
Well it appears that someone is a bigger fan than me - have a look at this amazingly funky place in Portugal. I am loving it - feels a bit like a Fornasetti exhibition, but I am fond of the mix. Fun & funky place indeed.

I am also a HUGE fan of Fornasetti and LOVE LOVE LOVE the images above!
ReplyDeleteI so enjoy the playfulness of the faces, lips etc. when I went to Milan I bought a few meters of the 'Gerusalemme by day' fabric and have it stretched on a frame on the wall in my bedroom. I could look at it for years.
Selfridges has a rather lovely Fornasetti concession and I try and avoid it like the pest:)) I love most things they have there.

I love these images. They are so different from the things you see here in the states. I like the clean edges the lines and the art. Although in the ast image that white table is super modern with the "spindley" white chairs!! I love that. A bot of modern with well spindles. :) I really like those chairs.
