Our home is featured in the Danish online version of IKEA family live magazine. It was so much fun taking part - here is a preview of some of the pictures I took, and a link so you can see for yourself. Hope you speak danish :)
SO what do you think - can't wait to hear!? What you expected, or perhaps slightly mad:) As you know I am a lover of all things found on flea markets, on our travels, and I spend loads of time upcycling the stuff we have. We love it here, it is so much fun.

I love your style - very personal - not so shabby white uniform :-) -just wonderful - I love the images of your children - ........

LOVE IT! Superfin artikel og smukke billeder!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the feature, Anya! I am happy for you! Your home looks very charming, comfortable and full of personality. Love the bright and airy feeling! I really like the watercolor artwork above your sofa and the houses on the dresser/ cabinet.
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to get the Kartell coffee table for the longest time but I am afraid it might be too small/ too low. How's the quality? Is it good? Does it scratch easily?
Have a lovely day, my sweet friend!
Jessie

Hi Jessie - the Kartell is a low /small table but big enough (we have a low sofa though). Does it scratch - well with 2 kids, it does, but it doesn't really show that much, I still love it.
DeleteThanks for the sweet words,
Ax
Thanks for your feedback, Anya! Have a good day!

Hi Anya this a great opportunity to be featured in IFLmag... really lucky you... I love your place and there is just something I have been surprised with... it's the fact that all your windows are wood color... and not white!... may be just a personal taste, but living in northern europe country I guess it could give you some more daylight inside... Hope you don't take "shadow" with my remark!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice wednesday dear ANya

Hi Lau, we live in a place designed by a danish artist who have selected every single item personally - the wood is specifically picked, and we are not allowed to change/paint anything like that at all. :)
Delete(as you can see we have loads of windows- like a fish bowl ha ha) but I agree with you, it would let in more light -which would be nice in the winter.
Hope you have a fab day,
Ax

ReplyDeleteAnya,
ReplyDeleteI made a mistake and deleted my first comment so I'm re-writing it. Your home looks exactly how I expected it to look based on what I've read in your posts. I love how bright it is with all the pops of color throughout. It has an eclectic and bohemian feel to it which I LOVE! Congratulations on your feature in IFL magazine, you certainly deserve it! :)
Btw: I adore the girls room...it is so dainty and sweet! :)

Wow, this is so great! A few thoughts:
ReplyDeleteHow did you get chosen for this?
I love your home, just love it. It's modern and shabby chic, it's got more than one theme going and that's my favorite kind of style.
I love the rounded wall that you have pictures on.
The girls room is beyond magestic.
I love the pictures.
Anya, I saw that you said I took great photos. I have never been told that before so I thank you. I love Ikea by the way. Great post and congratulations.

Hej Anya,
