Charlottenlund Søbad {Copenhagen pages}

Finally the sun came out to play, but as it was still freezing our walk on the beach was brisk and short. I wanted to capture  Charlottenlund Søbad* as the buildings are the most beautiful mint green and with the sunshine & the snow it was just magic.
 


*Charlottenlund Søbad has exsisted since 1985. The baths are open all year, and are very popular for people who enjoy a swim during the Winter months. They say it clears the soul and gets rid of illness. I Dunno if that's true, and at the moment I have no intentions of finding out - I nearly freeze to death just walking to my car ha ha :)

  2. It looks stunning! I love the mint-green against the sky and the colours of the sea. Swimming in there in Winter though? NON! Absolutely no way! I'm with you on that one ;-)

  6. This place is just so serene and beautiful. I can imagine how good a brisk walk with that cold sea air must be for the heart, mind and soul.

  8. The pictures fantastic, but I don't know how in the world you walked around in that kind of cold for Pete's Sake!!! It's supposed to be 33 degrees here tonight in Northern California. I wouldn't dare step outside. Actually, do they make clothing warm enough for this kind of cold... :) Love to you!
