Danish home where the red thread throughout is... PLYWOOD. I dunno if I would - but it does add a fun twist to the place. Rather modern some might say. Others might say it looks unfinished. Think that's the point entirely. What do you reckon?Like or not good at all??
HAPPY MONDAY EVERYONE.

Not really convinced about that one, would take some getting used to. As you said, it looks "unfinished", but not even in a good way (there is "unfinished" in a good way) and as if something is simply missing... Wishing you a lovely Monday and a great week ahead xo
ReplyDeleteI like the place as a whole, but I'm not sure about the plywood. not really my cup of tea. happy monday xxx
ReplyDeleteHiya sweets!! Looks nice and clean...not sure if I would have it really, but it looks good in this house. Just too modern for me. But, if it keeps their house this clean, it mustn't be a bad thing ;) I hope you have a great week doll xox
ReplyDeleteNot really my cup of tea I'm afraid. Tempted to give the wood a lick of white paint. After saying so, the interior of the house you have featured is beautiful. Maybe the plywood just needs some getting used to. Wishing you a wonderful week xx
ReplyDeleteThought so myself Geraldine.

Beautiful inspiring home! /Elina
ReplyDeleteI love the balcony from the first image, just perfect.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite houses you've posted. I love it. The space, the simplicity and the quilt on the last picture I love it!!
ReplyDeleteAlso, so fun to see a picture of you in the last post!! And I love that despite the freezing cold your daughters are in tights and skirts, that would be mine too. :) Love,
Shauna xo
Glad you liked it Shauna - thought it very minimal and Scandinavian.
DeleteAnd yes - the girls are always in dresses & skirts. But when it's really cold and they are out for long they wear ski suits, or salopettes. It's freezing in Denmark during the winter:)
Happy day sweets,
Axx
Oh, sorry, not for me:-) but then Shauna, before me loves it. That's what makes the world go round... that we are all different!
ReplyDeleteYES Vive la différence my friend:)
Deletei like it anya! it's very unique & different. it doesn't come across as unfinished to me. beautiful!

How funny you like it too - perhaps the Scandi way is coming to America :)
DeleteI love plywood AND osb (oriented strand board) - it's the latter they have used in this apartment…
ReplyDeleteI also think it looks a bit unfinished here – I would have gone for bigger areas with this wood (entire walls or floors or something). It looks a bit sissy the way they have done it…
Thanks Yvonne - see how much I really know about wood:)
DeleteHappy day,
Axx
