Lago di Garda part 2

02/07/2013

I am lucky enough to be able to return to Lago di Garda, courtesy of my lovely friend Gianly of blog Giato Salò and the amazing apartment Petit Maison au Lac. I have a few images here from my last visit that you haven't seen before, so to whet your appetite for the Summer holidays coming,  here is a taste of Life the Italian way (or my way in Italy:)

1: Lake view
2: Harbour in Limone
3: Hotel in Limone
4: Salò on a rainy night

Thank you Gianly

  3. Ok. Here's a rule... sorry, it HAS to be done ;). You don't get to post getaway havens during the week. Right? Agree? Thought so. ahahahahah

I love how Italy doesn't "beautify" things.

I love how the buildings look ancient, but dignified. How lakes are "just" there. No messing around to look different from what Nature created and allowed. I guess that's what makes her (has to be a she, right?) so charming.
(And I can't handle charming havens when I have to work ahahahah.)
Your pictures allow the same respect for the natural beauty and whimsy. I never put you - you and Italy - together but I can see you there. Enjoying it. Lucky Italy for having you again.
Thank you for sharing (despite... ;))
    Love,
    Teresa

    1. Ha ha sorry to disrupt your working day Teresa, we have gloomy grey skies so we needed a bit of a pick me up here. And yes you are right - the scenery here that Mother nature she made is absolutely stunning. I adore how green it all is. Happy day - hope you managed to do a little bit of work:)
