Masculine & Industrial

10/10/2013

Amazing masculine apartment in Budapest. I adore this vast space, and would personally love to live her. Even though the apartment have a lot of industrial touches throughout, it still feels cosy because of the eclectic pieces of furniture and the oversized photographic art work. The brick walls are incredible. What do you think? Bring me some colour or yes please ticking all the right boxes?

  1. This is quite beautiful really. I like certain elements in it, the black pieces and the crystal chandelier. It would be even better with some colour here and there and maybe a soft rug because the floor looks cold unless they have under floor heating and then we're fine, haha ;) But, it looks nice!! Have a sweet day doll x

  3. I love, love, love the glass panes of the doorway - I'd love to have a entry like that or even an internal window into a kitchen. So cool. x

  4. Totally amazing! What a fantastic blend of both masculine and feminine touches. Love the brick walls and those chandeliers. The only thing that would HAVE to go would be the pictures of the ladies butts. HAHAHA

  6. I would like to see a bit more color. It is very masculine and cold looking to me. Maybe a few colorful rugs ??

    1. Yeah rugs would work - larger than the ones they have already I think. A

  7. How sexy is that???? LOVE!!! Everything about it, except the placement of rugs. Seems rather timid for such a generus and abundant space xx

    1. Yes they do look a bit out of place - had they only been larger :-)

  8. I think my husband, and several million other men, would love to live in that foyer! What an attention grabber!

I love the whole place actually, it has that gritty feel, a little edgy, but mixed with glam which is hard to get right without feeling contrived. Perhaps it is the inclusion of humour which makes it work so well? And even though I am the first to demand colour, this space doesn't seem to need any more...plenty of texture and decorative elements going on...

So yes, it ticks all my boxes.
