Blogger event By Lassen

06/11/2013

Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending a blogger event organized by Nadia Lassen (great granddaughter of the famous Mogens Lassen). The event was held in their super cool showroom, and we had a wonderful time, mingeling and getting to know one another. Nadia told us the story about the Lassen brothers, and how she and her design team has managed to dig into the archives and make some of the old designs current - keeping to the original drawings. We also got to meet the marvelous Kristina Dam - a designer/artist, and she had us do our own illustrations. Naturallly mine wasn't all that, but it was so much fun participating. Thanks a mill Nadia & team for having me, and great to meet all you lovely danish blogger ladies too!

God dag :-)

  2. It seems that an eye for design is something that just goes with the Danish genes…Stylish, elegant, yet down to earth…it fascinates me that this is so richly in your culture Anya. Beautiful.

  6. Not sure what happened...I wrote a comment but it disappeared. Anyway, I will repeat it. Sounds like you had a great time. If they had asked me to draw anything they would have been out of luck. The only thing I can draw is stick people. LOL LOL I think it is interesting that they were able to dig back into the archives to find old drawing to recreate items. Glad you had a wonderful time!
