Dark hues

05/11/2013

Sticking to dark hues for the moment, I stumbled across this beauty of a place in Bristol as seen on Design sponge. Again I am crossing over to the 'dark side' as I am getting more and more fond of using a darker palette instead of the usual white (which may I add I also love:) Here the owners Greg and Jill Murray have managed to encompass antique furniture and cool treasures from all over the World. I love it.

  1. I am getting more and more into darker color palettes too. It has to do with the season. Atumn has finally come to Barcelona, today I am wearing socks for the first time :-)

  5. You know, I just re-tiled my bathroom in slate/dark grey tiles… Needless to say, I am a huge fan of dark tones and greys in particular. I just find them really calming (do I sound odd?) ;)

  7. I like this. It doesn't appear all that dark. I think there is enough light filtering in to accommodate the dark finishes. I also love chair in the first photo and the artwork above the kitchen table. Very nice! I can see why you would love this! :-)
