All she wanted to do was to dance

16/06/2014

My youngest daughter Holly was given a stunning white TuTu by my dear friend Tina's lovely daughter. She was utterly delighted, and has worn it ever since - e.v.e.r.y.w.h.e.r.e actually.
We went for an evening walk yesterday, the light was low (you know  - that light is my obsession) and she was truly a sight for sore eyes. Happy Monday my friends, a mere month until we go on holiday - can't believe how this year has flown by, or is it just me thinking that.

  7. So happy you were there to catch the light, the beauty and the Dream you brought us.
When you have a Tutu you're honor bound (Fairies decree, you wouldn't understand ;)) to use it always and forever. Even when you grow it stays inside of you forever. She will always be this exact person. She will always live this inside of her. And I want you to make huge prints of this and keep it for her to put in her apartment when and wherever she goes. Your Art and your Presence in that particular moment was meant, not just happened if you know what I mean... the world was perfect. And you will be able to return to it every time it seems not.
Amazing Pictures! Happy Inducing (you and your daughter are dynamite, Dear Anya!)
    Love,
    Teresa

  8. Aw, how sweet! I remember how my daughter would wear a little pink coat that was given to her by a friend of mine which she also wore e.v.e.r.y.w.h.e.r.e! She used to wear it in the house whilst playing store with her grocery cart. She would wheel the cart around and ask us what we wanted from the grocery store. She also wore her hat (which had ear flaps that were turned away from her ears) LOL. Even when the coat was way to small for her (the sleeves way to short), she would wear that darn coat! LOL

  10. She looks adorable and it's so nice how children simply do whatever they want without a care about what others might think. She wants to wear a tutu wherever she goes, then I think that's great. The shots are stunning as usual and I love the soft light… Hope you're having more sunshine in Copenhagen than we're having in London. Have a lovely week xo
