Ikea love

13/01/2015

Being a Scandinavian I am pretty much brought up on IKEA products. I remember a time where having a home full of IKEA wasn't what you'd want, but that has changed now. Their collections are spot on trend, and mixing it up a bit with vintage stuff, as well as new stuff will give your home that cool trendy edge. These are a few of my favourite picks from their new collection hitting the stores in February.
 RISATORP basket
 RIMFORSA Kitchen Accessories
RIMFORSA tablet stand
RISATORP kitchen cart
 OPPLAND queen bed frame
The BILLY bookcase

  2. I love IKEA too :) I'm lucky because IKEA is close to my home ;)
We don't have in Poland this beautiful RIMFORSA series... I really regret it beacuse I need tablet stand and RIMFORSA would be perfect.
    Best regards,

  3. I actually thought IKEA was more of a modern day thing. Imagine my suprise when I heard that it is around for decades!!!
I really love their new products. More durable than the plastic stuff. The tablet stand I really like and also the basket. I like it to have smaller holes, without stuff getting stuck in the wire!

  4. Love the organic styling. I'm glad they got over the 70's fugly they insisted on for a while! I always loved Ikea. You just have to know what you like, pick the right things. The versatility is impressive. I change my daughter's room over and over again as she grows and I hardly ever feel like I'm lacking anything...

    1. Fugly indeed :-) And yes it's very important to pick classic pieces, mixed in with a bit of the trendy stuff. Keeping it simple is key I guess :)

  5. I'm not Scandinavian and I Love IKEA :)
After that initial excitement I'm now an intelligent IKEA Lover... so now I don't go and grab all (like I did in the beginning) but what I bring makes me love my home and its pieces more and more.
I love the natural feeling of the pieces you chose. I Love IKEA and I Love Anya ahahahah

  6. Oh, don't tempt me! Having said that, I don't actually have any space left for new furniture - though I can always fit one more accessory in... ;-) The basket in the first pic would be perfect! Hope you're well, Lovely xo
