Summer house

The Danes flock to their Summerhouses on the weekend in the Summer. The communities there are like little villages, and there is a very special feel to it. This house is very much bang on the trend we have going on here: Black wooden house, white windows, lovely grounds and clean bright lines inside. What a lovely way to relax - come rain or sunshine (it is very mixed here ;)

This weekend is Copenhagen Carnival. A yearly event usually drowned in rain. But not this year. We went and we got blown away by the music, the costumes and the smiley happy people.

Well wouldn't you know - H&M have launched their SS 2012 collection full of all shades of blue, beautiful linens, and all things nautical. Make me want to go and hang out in a VW camper van (remember this) and chill on a beach. BRING on Summer.

I had a fantastic time at the HIVE blog conference. We came and we laughed our way through the weekend (or maybe that was just me:) I am buzzing (he he) with all the amazing information I have learnt: The speakers & workshops were great, food fab, the setting absolutely perfect. But the best part of it all for me was all the adorable people I was lucky enough to meet. You guys are FAB - I will be visiting your blogs soon.

Heard of it yet: the HIVE - Blog Conference - taking place this weekend in Berlin. I am going there with some lovely friends, and look forward to catching up with many more lovely internet friends. Swedish artist George Chamoun made awesome collages pairing present Hollywood stars with icons from the Hollywood past.

He named the project Iconatomy from the words “icon” and “anatomy.”

I don't know about you - but I adore the results. SOO cool.

We had a day trip to one of my dream destinations - Venice!

My head exploded with the visual images everywhere: the water was emerald green, the buildings had perfectly aged, the people, the atmosphere, the gondolas!! Everything was just divine.

Back from one of the best long weekends ever!! Lago di Garda completely blew me away. The view, the greenery, the cities & the people. Husbando and I had the best time ever - we laughed, we ate, we drank, and we walked. My head is fresh and I have about a thousand images - so be aware: Anya Adores Italian style!!!

THIS is Premignaga, this is where we stayed courtesy of Gianlidia -my lovely new friend! The owner Daniela treated us like royalty!
